We are a family run business with over 35 years of experience in the pet industry. We have pioneered the retail market in South Africa, having had South Africa’s first Mega Retail Pet Shop. Animal Kingdom started in 1992 in Randburg. It didn’t take us long to build a name for ourselves as having the widest selection of fish, animals, accessories and knowledgeable service. Due to changing trends in the area we where forced to relocate. Our decision to open two stores in two different locations has enabled us to share with a wider public what a pet shop experience should feel like.We pride ourselves on providing top quality, healthy fish, reptiles, birds and small animals along with the widest selection of equipment and accessories. We attend all the international pet shows searching for the best quality products at the best possible prices. We also source a lot of our goods from the South African market which assists in creating jobs. Our approach to the way we run our business is professional and friendly our customers only come second to our animals.
