Reptile Resort Vermiculite substrate – medium
| VOLUME |
|---|
Animal Kingdom Pet store brings for your pet the REPTILE RESORT Vermiculite which is a better choice for most tropical reptile species that need higher humidity levels to prevent the egg/eggs from drying out too fast.
Be cautious of too much moisture when using any incubation media as it can cause more harm than good.
Most breeders will make a small depression in the vermiculite with a finger for the egg to set in. Some hard shell eggs, such as day geckos, are best incubated on dry vermiculite in a small container set in wet vermiculite.
After your eggs have hatched, the Vermiculite should be disposed of – you can throw the vermiculite in your garden to make mulch for your flowers.
